Israel's #1 snack for 60+ years — puffed corn coated in peanut butter, just four ingredients.
About This Product
Bamba has been Israel's #1-selling snack since its 1964 launch, and this one is made in Israel by the original producer. Four ingredients — corn grits, peanut paste, palm oil, salt: the corn grits are 'popped' under high pressure into puffs, then coated in hot liquid peanut butter. The result is light and airy with rich peanut flavor — like a 'cheese puff without the cheese.'
The melt-in-your-mouth texture and salty peanut-butter flavor are addictive, easy to finish in one bag. Hard to find even in the US, so it's a good-value pickup at Trader Joe's.
How to Enjoy
- Straight as a snack — melt-in-mouth peanut puffs.
- An easy snack to share — soft and easy to eat.
- Dipped in chocolate — plunge in dark chocolate for sweet-salty.
- With beer — salty peanut flavor with a lager.
- During movies and shows — so light you keep going.
This one's a good fit if
- You love peanut butter flavor
- You enjoy a melting puff texture
- You want a simple-ingredient snack
- You want to try a famous international snack
Why Korean Customers Reach for This
Bamba is famous as Israel's national snack but has almost never been officially imported to Korea. Peanut-butter-coated puffed corn is itself an uncommon format here, and the four-ingredient simplicity is part of the appeal — a good entry to famous international snacks. (Those with peanut allergies should take care.)
