Tampax Pearl in Ultra, which holds 15–18g on the US absorbency scale. The plastic applicator is smooth and rounded, and each tampon is individually wrapped. The highest absorbency Tampax makes, usually kept for the heaviest day or two.

1. Wash your hands, then unwrap and check that the string is secure.
2. Hold the grip and position the applicator.
3. Insert, push the inner tube fully, then remove the applicator.
4. Change at least every 8 hours, as stated on the package.
5. Wrap the used tampon and applicator and put them in the bin — never flush them.
