Choosing 4000X — Strength Level Guide
The European Gold Flash Black series is graded by intensity, with the X-rating indicating relative bronzer concentration.
1000X – 2000X: Entry-level. For first-time bronzer users or those still building a base tan. Color develops gently over multiple sessions.
3000X: Intermediate. For tanners with an established base who want noticeably deeper color without dramatic intensity.
4000X (this product): Advanced. For experienced tanners who have plateaued with lower strengths and want maximum depth. Time-release mechanism continues developing color for hours after the session.
Dark Star 5000X – 6000X: Maximum strength. For competitive bodybuilders, fitness athletes preparing for stage, or tanners specifically seeking the darkest possible result.
If you are new to indoor tanning bronzers, the 4000X may be too intense — start with 2000X and work up. If you have used 2000X-3000X formulas regularly and want a noticeable step up, the 4000X is the right choice.
